The Great White Shark Online Texas Hold'em Poker System

In horse racing there are systems that help bettors win and in other forms of gambling, such as roulette there are systems, but are there really poker systems? There are certainly people who will tell you that they have a system for winning at poker, but when it comes to get rich quick schemes for winning Texas Holdem, or any money game for that matter, a healthy dose of skepticism is called for.
The answer, in my opinion, is yes, but with several caveats. First of all, there are many different levels of playing poker. Sitting in on a big tournament, you can span the range from beginner to world champion and if you last long enough, you'll probably face both. There is no system on earth that will beat a really good poker player when he or she is on his or her game.

On the other hands, just as "fool's mate" will trap a beginner in chess, there are some systems that will help a beginner to stay in a tournament much longer than no system at all. The reason isn't hard to understand. Much of poker is based on probability and statistics.
If you can convince a beginner to give up the foolish idea of trying to bluff and pull the stunts he or she sees the pros pull, then it is possible to use a few simple moves, based on those stats I mentioned, and to move his or her game up to a whole new level. Learning those stats is a bit daunting at first and though they may be memorized, they can also be forgotten in the heat of battle.
That is why a set of moves that are based on many statistics is much easier to memorize and an absolute beginner can appear to be a much better player. If the other players at the table can't spot you as a green player, they may lay off just a bit. Pull a few good moves based on solid play and they will really give you some respect and may even lay off you in favor of taking down the easier to spot beginners.
So, yes, there are poker systems that are worth learning, no you won't win the World Series of Poker with them alone, but they certainly can't hurt if you don't have a lot of poker playing skill.
